Plumeria 'Mona Lisa' pink-yellow (Frangipani, Pomelia)

Plumeria "Mona Lisa" (Frangipani, Pomelia) is a tropical plant which has 7-9 cm flowers, a surprising mix of yellow and pink that would look good inside the Louvre. Lovely strong scent. Compact growth with slightly wavy and crinkled leaves.

When young it has a fleshy trunk that becomes woody when grown, deciduous leaves, and does not require special care. It is an ornamental plant for exteriors and interiors native to Thailand, it is also suitable for indoor cultivation and is particularly appreciated for embellishing apartments, gardens or terraces.

LIFE CYCLE

In winter Plumeria loses its leaves, it does not need to be watered. In spring it grows and in summer it blooms.

IRRIGATION

Water when the soil is dry. Discontinue during the winter.

TEMPERATURE

Particularly resistant to high temperatures. Does not tolerate cold temperatures (below 8 C°). It is advisable to bring the Plumeria indoors in winter. Move it outside when temperatures are mild.

FERTILIZATION

During the growing season use a fertilizer for flowering plants.
