Plumeria 'Mele Pa Bowaman' white-yellow (Frangipani, Pomelia)

Plumeria "Mele Pa Bowaman" (Frangipani, Pomelia) is a tropical evergreen. It is more robust than the standard Plumeria obtusa tree (Singapore) and is no less in terms of scent, growth and character. Large 10cm flowers, very fragrant, yellow with white edges. Beautiful glossy leaves, very thick, deep green on a medium tree. Cold hardy and easy to grow.

When young it has a fleshy trunk that becomes woody when grown, deciduous leaves, and does not require special care. It is an ornamental plant for exteriors and interiors native to Thailand, it is also suitable for indoor cultivation and is particularly appreciated for embellishing apartments, gardens or terraces.

LIFE CYCLE

In winter Plumeria loses its leaves, it does not need to be watered. In spring it grows and in summer it blooms.

IRRIGATION

Water when the soil is dry. Discontinue during the winter.

TEMPERATURE

Particularly resistant to high temperatures. Does not tolerate cold temperatures (below 8 C°). It is advisable to bring the Plumeria indoors in winter. Move it outside when temperatures are mild.

FERTILIZATION

During the growing season use a fertilizer for flowering plants.
